The Ministry of Health has issued revised FAQs this evening specifically related to Companies/ Services translated unofficially as follows:
Private service companies (e.g. law firms, accounting firms, insurance companies, service companies, etc.), with the exception of the essential services set out in the Decree, work remotely.
The physical presence of employees is allowed within the professional premises as long as it does not exceed 25% of the total number of staffwith a minimum presence of five (5) peopleif the employer so wishes, and a maximum of 25 people.
It is understood that if a company operates in more than one building, the physical presence of employees is allowed, not exceeding 25% of each premise, with a minimum presence of five (5) people, if desired by the employer, and a maximum of 25 people.
Companies co-located in the same building are allowed the physical presence of employees not exceeding 25% of each legal entity(i.e. each company), with a minimum presence of five (5) people, if desired by the employer, and a maximum of 25 people and provided that the health protocols are observed.
The rest of the staff work remotely from home. It is understood that the number is rounded up.
For example:
– in a company with 10 people, up to five people can work physically at the office, if the employer so wishes.
– in a company with 50 employees, up to 13 people can work physically at the office.
– in a company with 200 employees, the maximum number of persons who can work simultaneously physically at the office may not exceed 25 persons.
