Due to the need to accelerate the vaccination plan against COVID-19 in order to increase the population shield as soon as possible, but also because, according to the data and experience from previous openings of the Vaccination Portal, on the 2nd day of appointment availability the response is minimum, it is announced that the Vaccination Portal for the ages 49-50 will remain open today, April 21, until 8 pm and NOT UNTIL APRIL 22, at 8 pm as announced.
Therefore, all people aged 49 and 50 who are interested in vaccination are invited to arrange their appointment within the day.
Additionally, the scheduling for the appointment from Thursday, April 22, until Sunday, April 25, is updated as follows:

The vaccinations for the appointments that will be arranged on the above dates will be done in Vaccination Centers that operate all over Cyprus, with the available licensed vaccines. It is also noted that at a later time the opportunity will again be given to age groups who had only one opportunity to schedule an appointment, to do so.
As of April 20, a total of 219,654 vaccinations (25 doses per 100 inhabitants) were given, of which 161,389 (18.3%) related to the administration of the first dose and 58,265 (6.6%) related to the administration of both doses .
