Charakis Research & Consulting Ltd. proudly announces that its innovative research project, NAUTOPLUS, has received the highest evaluation rating, “Category A – Excellent”, from the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF).
The NAUTOPLUS project, funded by RIF under the “Research in Enterprises 2023” Programme, focused on the development of an advanced workload analysis software powered by Artificial Intelligence, specifically designed for the maritime sector.
The evaluation confirms that the team at Charakis Research & Consulting Ltd. fully achieved its objectives, successfully transforming an innovative idea into a functional, market-ready platform (TRL 7), which has been available since early 2026 via www.nautoplus.com
During the project, a parallel and concurrent evaluation was also conducted by Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), which confirmed the scientific robustness of the methodology utilized by NAUTOPLUS. Furthermore, the collection of data from leading shipping companies during the testing phase has established NAUTOPLUS as a reliable decision-making tool for human resource management, both at sea and onshore.
