CIBA proudly celebrates its member, Grant Thornton Cyprus, for successfully organizing its bi-annual Concert for a Cause, an inspiring evening that brought together more than 300 colleagues, clients, friends, and family members in support of community, collaboration, and meaningful impact.
The event featured an energetic live performance by GT Chords, Grant Thornton Cyprus’s in-house band, composed of colleagues from diverse service lines and professional backgrounds. What began as a small internal initiative in 2019 has evolved into a highly anticipated tradition, highlighting not only impressive musical talent but also the firm’s strong culture of teamwork, creativity, and connection.
This year’s nine-member band delivered an outstanding performance that filled the venue with enthusiasm and created a vibrant atmosphere in support of a truly worthy cause. The success of the evening reflected the collective spirit of the Grant Thornton community and demonstrated the power of people coming together around a shared purpose.
All proceeds from the event were donated to the Grant Thornton Cyprus Foundation, whose mission is to support at least one underprivileged individual in pursuing their educational aspirations. The Foundation advances this mission through various fundraising initiatives throughout the year, with Concert for a Cause and Bingo Night serving as its flagship events, complemented by smaller internal activities such as bake-offs and bazaars. Together, these efforts underline the firm’s long-standing commitment to creating opportunities and making a meaningful difference in the community.
