UPDATE: Decoding Immigration Measures following the COVID-19 outbreak in Cyprus.

Following the outbreak of COVID-19 in Cyprus, the Cyprus Government announced a series of measures:

From 6 p.m. of the 16th of March and for a period until the 30th of April, the prohibition of entry to any citizen – regardless of nationality – who does not fall into one of six categories.

All persons falling within these categories should be able to prove that they have been examined by an authorized medical centre/designated authority for the Coronavirus within the last 4 days before their arrival and present a relevant medical certificate for this purpose.

It should also be noted that all persons arriving in Cyprus following the above procedures, will be obliged to stay in quarantine for a period of 14 days from arrival in special quarantine places that the Ministry of Health will designate.
