Meaning – moral principles that govern a person’s behaviour or the conducting of an activity.
Philosophers have been discussing ethics for at least 2500 years, since the time of Socrates and Plato. Ethics involves learning what is right or wrong, and then doing the right thing, but “the right thing” is not nearly as straightforward as conveyed in a great deal of business ethics practices…..

About the speaker:
Petros Patounas is a Lacanian Psychoanalyst practicing and teaching in Limassol, London, and Belgrade. His work has been translated in a few languages including Portugese, French, English. His work in companies aims in assisting the formation of ethical leadership through Structural executive coaching and through his Topological Leadership model.

About the speaker:
Mr. Antoun Massaad, CEO and co-founder of Cedar Rose International Services Ltd, a business intelligence and due diligence investigations corporation covering the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He started the business in 1997 realising there was a lack of credible and accurate information available for the Arabic speaking countries and most export credit insurance agencies would simply build the additional risk exposure into the price of their cover. Having grown up in Lebanon then worked as a researcher in London, he knew that with the right attitude, respect of the Arab culture and knowledge of the local protocol, it was possible to obtain more in depth information on both companies and individuals. He also realized there was a strong appetite for more accurate information and that companies would prefer to pay a little more for information they could rely on, especially if that intelligence was delivered quickly. And so Cedar Rose was established. Until 2015 he was managing teams of multi- lingual investigators based in several countries working mainly on pre-transaction reputational due diligence, litigation support, ID verification & asset tracing assignments, focusing on corporate and financial risk, issues of fraud, corruption, reputation, corporate and financial standing. His main objective is to provide the most accurate, honest and efficient service currently available for information and business intelligence on companies and individuals in the Middle East, Africa & Asia. He is a regular speaker at conferences, seminars and workshops around the world addressing specifically the business intelligence and compliance checks related to the MENA region.
