The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health wish to inform the public that Cypriot citizens currently abroad, who are in need of medication that is not available to them locally where they are, may apply for assistance either by email at comunit@mfa.gov.cy or alternatively by phone, calling (+357) 22 801000. Provided that the objective difficulties in obtaining the necessary medication are documented, efforts will be undertaken to dispatch the medication to them from Cyprus, where circumstances allow.
It is noted that Cypriot citizens residing in the United Kingdom in particular, are entitled to apply to the National Health System (NHS) to secure their medication, on the basis of a relevant bilateral Agreement that is in force.
