The Ministry of Finance, as part of the implementation of the measures for the treatment of coronavirus, informs the public from today 26.03.2020, service at the Citizens Service Centers, will be available only by appointment through telephone contact, in order to restrict visits ONLY for the absolutely necessary cases involving the following services:
Application for ID
Issuance of a European Health Insurance Card
Request for a passport ONLY if travel tickets are provided
Issue of birth certificate for newborn
Receipt of issued documents (IDs, passports, driving licenses, refugee IDs)
Applications for the following should be placed in the special boxes that were placed at the entrance of each Citizens Service Centre:
Applying for Social Security Services (e.g. for pensions, allowances, benefits etc.)
Applications for Minimum Guaranteed Income (EEE)
Submission of supporting documents for EEE and child allowance
Applying for student sponsorship. An extension was granted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth until April 30, 2020.
Citizens are urged not to come to the Citizen Service Centres for:
Hospital card renewal. The Ministry of Health informed that the hospitality cards / IDs that have expired recently (in the last six months) or are expected to expire by June 30, 2020, remain valid for a period of 6 months from their expiration date.
