New Ministry of Transport Decree extends the ban on flights until May 28th

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Public Works has extended the ban on flights for another 14 days until May 28th 2020.

Flights are still allowed under specific categories:

1. Cargo flights.
2. Flights without passengers to Cyprus so as to transports persons wishing to depart from the Republic of Cyprus.
3. Flights to and from the Republic such as humanitarian/ambulance/repatriation flights and individual flights for incidents of extreme emergency.

In conclusion, it is stated that the measures are being re-evaluated on a continuous basis, taking into account the current situation in the Republic in combination with the current situation in other European countries, but also worldwide.
