Regulation for maximum number of people at social gatherings in homes and public spaces

The Ministry of Health, taking into account the existing epidemiological indicators and the forecasts for the development of COVID-19 disease, has announced that from June 24, 2020, the restriction of 10 people for mass gatherings will be abolished.

Despite the fact that in the initial design for the period June 24-July 6, 2020, the maximum number of people in meetings was set at 50 people indoors or 100 people outdoors, the very good epidemiological picture of recent days has allowed the increase of this limit. Therefore, the maximum number of persons in meetings (physical presence in the same premises / installation regardless of indoor or outdoor space) is set at 75 people indoors or 150 people outdoors, an arrangement that was scheduled to take effect by July 7, 2020.

It is clarified that mass gathering is not allowed to occur simultaneous indoors and outdoors.

Mass gatherings include weddings, baptisms, concerts, festivals, private gatherings at home, and any other form of public gathering.

In the event that social gatherings take place at home, the maximum number includes permanent residents.

It is further noted that that in any case the relevant health protocols need to be observed.
